Please read these terms & conditions carefully and in full, you will be asked to agree to them at the checkout prior to completing your order.

Definitions

In these terms & conditions unless inconsistent with the context or otherwise specified the following definitions will apply to words and expressions:

‘we/us/our’ means Bellwether Wines Ltd.

‘website’ means this ‘Bellwether Wines Ltd’ website located at www.belllwetherwines.co.uk or any subsequent URL used by us from time to time.

‘you/your’ means the person accessing and using this website and the legal entity you represent during the course of employment or engagement by that entity.

Age Restrictions

UK law prohibits the sale or supply of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. By placing an order with us you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Please note to accept a delivery from us you must be at least 18 years old  (proof of age may be required).

Ordering & Pricing

We aim to deliver your order within 3 business days from the purchase date however please allow up to 7 business days for delivery. If you would like a more accurate delivery timescale please contact us prior to ordering. If for any reason the product ordered is out of stock after this period we will contact you to arrange either a refund or an appropriate alternative. Due to ever changing vintages we withold the right to supply an ensuing vintage without notice should the quoted vintage no longer be available.

All prices shown on the website include Value Added Tax at the current UK rate. The checkout will automatically break down and show VAT separately before you complete your order.

If, for any reason, we have under priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the product at that price. If you decide not to order the product, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy.

Deliveries

Delivery is available to UK mainland addresses only. We provide a free delivery service to addresses within a 20 miles radius of Peterborough (please see our delivery page for delivery zone maps) A minimum order of 12 bottles applies, deliveries for orders under 12 bottles will be charged at our standard zone 1 delivery charge (see below).
 

Deliveries outside of this area within zone 1 will be charged at £7.99 for up to 12 bottles and multiples there of.

Example
1-12 bottles = 1x £7.99
13-24 bottles = 2x £7.99


Deliveries within zone 2 will be charged at £24.95 for up to 12 bottles and multiples there of.

Example
1-12 bottles = 1x £24.95
13-24 bottles = 2x £24.95
 

All delivery charges are automatically calculated from your purchases and location at the checkout.

Please note to accept a delivery you must be at least 18 years of age (proof of age may be required).

In the unfortunate event of any breakages during transit please notify us within 24 hours from the point of delivery.

Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your order up to and including 7 working days from the date of delivery of your order (all cancellations must be in writing). Providing all the bottles are unopened and intact we will refund the full price of the order including delivery within 30 days from the date of cancellation.  Return postage for cancellations is your responsibility.

Should you receive any faulty products please inform us as soon as possible, in the unfortunate event of any breakages during transit please notify us within 24 hours from the point of delivery. All refunds will be made within 30 days from the time you inform us. Please retain any faulty or broken items including all packaging as we may need to arrange collection prior to a refund being issued.

Security & Data Protection

When you register your details with Bellwether Wines Ltd or when you make a purchase from this website, we collect personal information to enable us to process and deliver your order. By registering your details on our website, you consent to us maintaining, recording, holding and using personal data we collect about you.

We also use cookies to collect information that will enhance your experience when using our website. Cookies are a feature of web browser software that enable us to provide you with many services such as personalised greetings and storage of items in your shopping basket between visits and helps us to constantly monitor and improve our website's functionality and personality.

All information (including credit card details) is sent and received using the latest in secure e-commerce software. All of our payments are securely processed via Barclays ePDQ.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 Bellwether Wines Ltd will not share your information with third parties unless required to do so by law.

Bellwether Wines Ltd shall not be held liable to any individual or business for any damage or loss which may have occurred from the use of any matter contained on this website.
